Message from the Secretary, Ministry of Healthcare and

Nutrition

Health Sector Development Project has been able to

fulfill a long felt need of National Guidelines for
provision of care in government hospitals.

Professional Colleges have managed to include the views

and opinions of a large number of experts in order to
develop these guidelines taking in to account the limited
resources available in the health institutions.

I hope the healthcare providers would make the

maximum use of this effort and provide clinical care of
highest standard.
