● Research other teen programs that take place year round
○ MCASD TAG Program
● Research LGBTQ+ organizations/programs in SD
● Develop activities
○ List of events/activities we want to do during the program
● Develop schedule
○ Yearly/seasonal program
○ Number of days to meet each month/year

○ # of people we can let in

● Create a name for the program

WHO:
● A diverse group of 13-18 year olds from across San Diego
● 15-20 teens

WHAT:
●
● Workshops surrounding careers in art, types of art, art history
○ Can be led by artists in the community
○ Room for student involvement and discussion
● Field-trips
● Planning for end of the year exhibition
○ Students create all art for the event, as well as plan and market the event
○ Will give them insight into curation, planning, marketing, and art education
○ Art can be visual, performance, dance, music, writing, etc
