To, Respected Arbab Shahzad Khan Sahib, Competent Authority, Election Management Cell,Pakistan Tehrik- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Peshawar. ‘SUBJECT: APPEAL FOR RECONSIDERATION AND GRANT OF APPROVAL _OF Sir, With due respect it is submitted that the undersigned has submitted nominatior paper etc to contest the forth coming General Election 2018 from Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf,as membe of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from PK-77 Peshawar. Nevertheless,I have come ti know that my request has not been acceded to and instead an undeserving candidate has bee! allowed to contest the said Election ignoring my political back ground and especially my services fo the party.In this context,I most humbly submit the following few lines for favor reconsideration of m request on the following grounds: ii. That I am permanent re: Peshawar. 2s That I have a rich Political back ground.My father Syed Ali Shah (Late) was one of th few famous personalities of Peshawar. Being a native Peshawari he was elected as member of th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for three times. He remained as Mayor of Peshawe cit for two terms. He also remained as member of the Majlis-e-Shura of Pakistan.Keeping in view th enormous services of my father he was bestowed with the title of “Baba-ay-Peshawar” jent of Peshawar and belong to a respectable Syed Family ~ 3, That being the resident of Peshawar I have got a very strong vote bank in the city. Th Population of PK-77 Peshawar comprised on more than 60 % Peshawaries who always preferred t elect a local candidate hailing from Peshawar. Apart from this the voters belonging to Aehle-Tast (Shia religion) in Peshawar also cast their vote in favor of a candidate belonging to Syed Family Peshawar. 4 That apparently no Peshawari belonging to Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf has been allowed t. contest the forth coming general Election either at Provincial or Federal level.This trend could bi harmful for the party while on the other hand the PPP and ANP have nominated their candidate who purely belong to Peshawar.The matter requires immediate attention of the higher authorities i the party. 5. That I have rendered valuable services for the party especially during “Dharna” proter gathering in Islamabad and arrange hundreds of Vehicles for comfortable travelling of workers t Islamabad and back to Peshawar from my own sources. Without any exaggeration I have rendere« remarkable social services for the local community in many fields and that’s why the local voter have got closed affiliation with me above party level. Since I am the only Peshawari candidate in all the Provincial and National Assembl Constituencies of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf in Peshawar as such it is most humbly requested that m} appeal on the grounds mentioned above may kindly be reconsidered/revisited and 1 may kindly E allowed to contest the election to the seat of PK-77,Peshawar on behalf of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaal and obliged please.
