· Something which is happening right now

We use Past simple tense for:

· Something which happened even a moment ago

We use Past continuous tense for:

· Something which was happening in the past

We use Future Simple tense for:

· Something which will happen in future

We use Future Continuous tense:

· For something which will be happening in the future

We use Present Perfect tense for:

· Something which you were doing in the past and have finished right now

· Something which has significance with the present situation

We use Present Perfect Continuous tense for:

· Something which you were doing in the past and are still doing it

We use Past Perfect tense for:

· When you have two past situations and you want to refer to the situation which happened
earlier

We use Past Perfect Continuous tense for:

· Something you had been doing in the past, but are not doing it now.

We Future Perfect tense for:


· Something which you would have done in future

We use Future Perfect Continuous tense for:

· Something which you would be doing in the future
