Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s enduringly popular musical
favorite “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” comes to Collingswood Middle School on November 14, 15 and 16 at 7pm with a matinee on November 16 at 1pm.
Beginning its life in 1967 as a 20-minute “pop cantata” for a school
Easter concert, “Joseph” was revived and expanded in the mid- ’70s and eventually made its way to Broadway in 1982. This lively interpretation of the biblical story of Joseph of Canaan has gone on to charm audiences around the world with its excitement, energy, and eclectic musical variety.
The cast includes Nate Addye as Joseph. Narrators are Nhaja
Demby, Julia Faupel, Kelly Gurcsik and Delaney Rodgers. The Brothers will be played by Aaron Carter, Jack Diaz, Owen Faupel, Jackie Giordano, Maddie Giordano, Billy Hunt, Chris Latch, John McAndrews, Rhifat Mahmud, Paul Maienza and Kathryn Maneely.
Performances will be staged at the Collingswood Middle School
Auditorium, 414 Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 seniors/students and are available at the door.
