Astos eyes matched the reflection of the green olives he was picking individually from

the vines. He had been a farmer ever since his father taught him how to yield and plant crops in

Northern Felathri. Astos was 23 years old and married to his wife Leah and had two little boys

growing up to be just like farmer Astos. Leah participated heavily in literature practices, writing

stories for the children to embrace and for the other women who took part in writings as well.

Astos would receive much help from her as well with the farm and keeping track of the

inventory.

Astos crops eventually grew to big importance that every week he was expected to have a

shipment full of olives. When Astos showed short on olives, the soldiers would harass Astos and

his family with threats and destroyed some of their precious olive trees. Being warned one last

time that if he did not bring as much as asked he would be in major trouble. Astos had felt like

his freedom was stripped from his own hands. He had initially only used the farm to support his

own family and now was expected to produce more than he ever could. Feeling no more free

than a slave Astos would try to find a way to evade this pillage.

Astos and a couple other local farmers would band together to consult over the

abundance of crops demanded by these officials. Ultimately, coming together this would start an

alliance and rebellion for the slaves, labourers, as well free folk. This brought hope and change

to the people who had nothing and for the people who just wanted change.

After long revolts Astos had lost everything to the Romans. The Etruscan civilization

would take a hard hit being destroyed and raided. Astos farm would be destroyed as well all the

literature texts that Leah had made. Astos would pray to the God of hercules to protect him and

his family from death as well the opportunity to carry on his legacy of farming. As he asked for a
sign from the Gods his chains were released and the soldier overlooking their shoulders said “run

and never look or came back here again”
