Messages – You may select to have a dialog box pop-up to indicate


information, warning or errors messages in addition to the message at the
bottom of the screen, you will receive a message like this.

To customize your screen to include the dialog box, left click on the
Customizing icon.

Options – Left click on the Options icon/folder. Select the type of
message(s) you would like to have a dialog box pop-up.

Apply – OK – Left click on Apply and OK.

Remove dialog boxes – Just remove the check and left click on Apply –
OK.

Favorites – Left click on Insert Folder

Rename your folder – Example: Notifications or Reports

OR Material Management - Purchasing

Press Enter on the Keyboard or left click on the green check.

Create Favorites using SAP Menu Paths

Creating favorites will allow you to move the Menu Paths that you use daily
to a favorites file. It will also allow you to rename your favorites.

Step through the menu path and then left click on Add to favorites icon.

Example: Create a PR 1
Menu Path –
>Logistics
> Material Management
> Purchasing
> Purchase Requisition
> Create (Highlight)

Your Menu Path should be moved to your favorite’s folder and should now
be available to use.

Option – If you would like to rename your menu path, highlight and then
select the change icon (Pencil) – type in your new name.

Type new description over


the R/3 Menu Path 3

Your new path name should appear in the favorite’s folder.

To delete from your favorite’s folder, highlight menu path in favorite’s


folder and click on delete favorites icon.

Purchase Requisition - Create

Delete – To delete your favorite, highlight menu path in favorite’s folder and
click on the delete favorites icon.

Favorites – Left click on Insert transaction

Transaction code – Enter transaction code. Press enter on the keyboard or


left click on green check.

Transaction Codes – To include Transaction Code in the SAP Menu Path – it


will look something like this.

Extras – Settings

Display technical names – Left click on Display technical names, left click
on green check.

Default Printer - To set your default printer – System > User profile > Own
data (left-click on Own data)

Defaults – Left click on the Defaults tab. To have your printer default to
your local windows printer, type in LOCL in the OutputDevice box. Left
click on Output immediately, if it is not already selected.

SAVE – Left click on the save icon (diskette).
