Activity Type Introduction


Spelling and speaking In this noteworthy teaching activity, students play a game of

If you use the same worksheet, make sure the students write in
pencil.

The student with the most points at the end of the game is the
winner.

PAST SIMPLE IRREGULAR VERBS

Take it in turns to choose an irregular verb from the chart. Under the word, write the
past simple form of the verb and use the past simple irregular verb in a sentence.
The aim is to get four squares in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, but
you must also try to stop your partner from getting four in a row.
