Pressure Gauges

The Pressure gauges shall be of suitable scale capacity for the test pressure, having a
dial at least 115mm in diameter. The test pressure should be between 30% and 70% of
the gauge scale.

The pressure gauge shall have accuracy as specified in the design code, having a scale
range between 1.5 and 3 times the test pressure.

The gauges being used shall have a valid calibration certificate, which is calibrated once
in every six months.

There shall be a minimum of two pressure gauges for each test.

Pressure gauge locations proposed/used shall be marked in the relevant isometric


drawings of the test packages.
