7 Zones Of Street

Moving From The Edge Of The Right-Of Way, We Divided The Street Into The Following 7 Zones.

1. Frontage
2. Footpath
3. Place-Making Zone
4. Non-Motorized Vehicle Zone
5. Multi-Utility Zone
6. Motor Vehicle Lane
7. Median

Each Zone Is Given With Minimum Standard Widths.

Air and noise pollution can be decreased by introducing non-motorized lanes which decreases
the number of motorized vehicles also.

RE-ROUTING

Re-routing is introduced as to decrease the density of traffic load and in the market road and
proposing pedestrians and 2-wheeler lanes where people will prefer walkways and non-
motorized vehicles more to decrease the density of traffic.

Four wheelers are diverted from the market road and preferred to go around the site in
opposite direction.

BUS SHELTER

Bus shelter is provided in multi-utility zone by increasing the lane width and skewing the other 4
zones to minimum standards while skewing. NMV lane is swung into footpath to accommodate
bus stop in MUZ

Skewing Multi-utility zone to non-motorized lane, NMV to place-making zone, place-making


zone to pedestrians, and pedestrians to building frontage.
