Frequency Separation in Photoshop

1. Duplicate twice the cleaned up from scratches and blemishes etc. layer (Brush hardness
4%)
2. Name the Low layer LOW and the upper HIGH
3. On the LOW layer add FILTER-BLUR-GAUSSIAN BLUR (radius 6)
4. Turn the HIGH layer in LINEAR LIGHT mode. Then go to IMAGE-APPLY IMAGE and
from the dialog box set the layer to LOW and Blending to SUBTRACT, Scale: 2, Offset: 128,
Opacity: 100%

Then you can work on the LOW layer with the Brush Mixed tool which is blending the tones.
Use the following Flow: 35%, Mix: 30%, Load: 15%, Wet: 30%

High and Low Areas

Make 2 layers of 50% Grey in Soft Light layer mode. With Foreground Color in White you
can add light and in Black you can make an area darker. Use soft brush (4%).
Add some light on the highlights of the face and darken the low light areas.

Sharpening and Color Processing

Use Nik Software for Sharpening (default) and use the Cross Processing-L06. Add Selective
color to tune the color in specific areas of the image.
