2-foot narrow-gauge railroad, first developed in 1945 with rem-
nants of five narrow-gauge railroads dating back to 1877.
Sited on over 500 acres of a working cranberry plantation, the
rail line traverses 2.5 miles on tracks through cranberry bogs and
near the Atwood Reservoir. Edaville has 3-season operation with
restored vintage passenger cars powered by vintage steam and
diesel locomotives. There are extravagant Fourth of July and
Christmas Light festivals, along with several “themed” weekend
events.
Opening June 2015 Edaville will have the world's largest official
ThomsLand themed park, plus a Main Street-styled entry concours,
an emulated Dickens Village, and several major new rides.
Significant on-site “living” museum of transportation, working
machine, car shops, roundhouse, and turntable.
