Specification (for 84-keys)

1. Connect ABS POS keyboard with the keyboard port of the host (Windows

Operating System). Then insert the standard keyboard into the external

keyboard port of ABS POS. Put mouse into the mouse port of the host.
2. Open the ABSWind_SETUP_V2.20(under Windows Operating System).
3. Install the “setup.exe ” program. Find out the file named “ABSWind”

document in the LCD monitor, open it.

4. The program-inserting interface comes out. Select “Open Keyboard

Templates”, and then click “84-keys”.

5. Click “Key Mapping” when interface of 84-keys appears. A dashed square

will be around “Key Mapping”. Then tap the “Space” on the keyboard.
6. There will be a window of “Key Assignment”; then you can amend the key

assignments.
7. For “Scan Code”, you can choose the corresponding Key Assignments in the

left and right square, and then click “confirm” button.

8. If there is no corresponding assignment, please select “ASII Code” or

“Special Code”. Click “ASII Code” or “Special Code”, there will be

the pull-down menu. Click respectively from “the first layer” to “the

sixth layer” in the menu, and type in the key assignments. Click

“confirm”.
9. All amendment is finished. Click “save keyboard definition”. Please keep

this file for your next use.
