Action Plan Template

Stage 1 – Desired Results


Established Goals:
To elaborate an action plan to develop appropriately the bilingual contents in
Natural and Social Science involving both, bilingual and Spanish Language
teachers.

Understandings:
Essential Questions:

Stage 2 – Assessment Evidence

Increase the pupils motivation creating an atmosphere where they can feel
comfortable and self-confident.
Provide the students with study techniques in both languages, to be applied in their
own language process.
Checking our students’ Science results in the external texts and our own marks in
the evaluations (as the external exams are made using Spanish)
Effectiveness of the teachers’ meetings, considering that one meeting in a month
should be enough.

Stage 3 – Action Plan

Actions:
1. Spanish and Science teachers will meet on
the first Thursday of each month at 14,05 in the Library.
2. Science teachers will provide to the
Spanish teachers the contents to be taught each month in Natural and Social
subjects.
3. Spanish teachers can feel free to use the
materials and resources they consider the best choice to be used in their lessons.
4. Give the students the opportunity to
acquire the Natural and Social vocabulary in both languages.
5. Involve families giving them concrete
instructions about how to help their own kids studying Science.
