Contingency Planning

1.Making sure to have a system to back up the patient’s information.

2.Being sure to give the people in the office different jobs to do beforehand so that everyone is
prepared.

3.Make sure the members of staff are aware of where everything is located as necessary.

4.Being sure that the members know what to do in case of an emergency.

5.Have a run through of the plan to be sure it is fool proof.

6.Make sure that you have the correct programs in place to keep patients health records

7. Establish a policy for late patients

8. Plan for sudden absence of provider a care team member

9. Anticipate unexpected increase in demand

10. Establish vacation plan and policies
