Problem

PSR ,son of RK ,aged 40 years ,residing at 17 judicial layout ,Bangalore-560094 had


lent an amount of Rs 16,00,000 to one ABC ,aged 40 years,residing at 7.BTM
layout,kormangala ,Bangalore-560029 on the strength of a cheque executed on
1.01.2016 payable on demand with interest at the rate of ………percent per
annum.the debtor has not repaid the amount and the cheque got bounced due to
insufficiency of fund .PSR approaches you to take legal steps for the realization of
the amount due to him.

Negotiable instruments Act,1881.

Under instructions from my client ,Mr PSR,son of RK,aged 40 years residing at


17 Judicial layout,Bangalore=560094,I hereby serve you with the following notice
Please take notice of the fact that my client had lent an amount of Rs
16,00,000(Rupees sixteen lakhs only) to you on the strength of a cheque
executed on 1-01-2016 payable on demand.
You have failed to repay the amount .The cheque issued by you had
been presented by my client to the bank on 17-01-2016.The bank returned the
same stating ‘funds insufficient by their memo.

My client had intimated you of the matter and represented to you that
the cheque has bounced. A fresh cheque was issued on 14-02-2016 by you.
However when it was presented to the bank on 07-04-2016 ,the bank again
returned it for paucity of funds in the concerned account.

Owing to the above mentioned circumstances,I call upon you to repay the
due amount to my client with in 15 days of receipt of this notice with an interest
of 2% per month and an additional amount of Rs 12,000(Rupees Twelve thousand
only) payable towards legal services.
Failing this,I will as instructed by my client,file a civil/criminal case
against you in the appropriate forum.The costs from such action will be payable
by you.
