Abstract
The long-term objective of this research is to produce writing materials by utilizing texts containing
local wisdom on learning Indonesian class X SMA / SMK Curriculum 2013. This research using
research and development design with research procedure include: (1) identification of potential
problems, (2) data collection, (3) preparation of teaching materials, (4) validation of teaching
materials, (5) revision of teaching materials, (6) experimental teaching experiments in class / 8)
broader use trials, (9) revision of final teaching materials, and (10) production of teaching materials.
The location of this research is in SMA Negeri 1 Bangli, SMK Negeri 1 Bangli, SMA Negeri 1
Rendang, Karangasem, and SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. The subjects of this study were Indonesian
teachers and students. While the object of research is teaching materials writing in class X SMA /
SMK Curriculum 2013. Data in this study in the form of qualitative and quantitative data collected by
questionnaires, interviews and tests. The result of this research is 1. Prototype of teaching materials by
utilizing texts containing local wisdom on learning Indonesian Class X SMA / SMK Curriculum 2013
consists of (1) title of material and key concepts; (2) instructions for the use of teaching materials; (3)
the content framework; (4) learning objectives; (5) presentation of material; (6) tasks and exercises;
(7) material summary; (8) supporting sources. The results of the prototype assessment of teaching
materials are good. This effectiveness can be seen from the ability to write in accordance with the
target with the percentage of completeness reached 82.76%. The suggestions that can be given are (1)
teachers and parents should always give direction and motivation to students to always learn to write.
(2) Further development of writing materials is needed.
