The mayor of Cusco is Carlos Moscoso, Cusco was fundated on March 23th in
1534. In cusco, there are many old buildings, few movie theaters, shopping malls
and some famous restaurants. Cusco is known as Ancient Rome, too. Cusco is a
very beautiful city and the people are friendly. It is better known as “the navel of
the world”.

Cusco has two seasons, their are dry season and winter. The dry seasons is from
April to late October and the winter is from November to March.

In this month the season is dry and the weather is little sunny, but sometimes it
is rainy. In the morning and night it’s too cold and there are a lot of wind.
So, the people of Cusco wear some heavy clothes. For example, they wear a coap,
a jacket, a sweater, boots, a pair of gloves, jeans, a cap, hiking shoes and ear
warmers.
Also, they wear a T-shirt, a blouse, a hat or some light clothes, because sometime
it’s hot.

Many Cusco’s people carry an umbrela, because it may rain. They have in their
house a small medicine cabinet, in there, they keep few pills for headache,
stomachache, earache and cold.

Tourists always carry a hiking backpach, a camera and much money, because yhey
buy a loto of things.

Cusco has eight tourist places:

1. Cusco’s Cathedral
2. Cusco’s town square
3. Sacsayhuman
4. Pisac
5. Mountain of seven color
6. Ollantaytambo
7. Tambomachay
8. Machu Picchu

These places are always crowed, because everyday there are much people of
different countries.
