When using the Windows Server 2016 image, you may need to ‘online’ your hard drives, as a windows

policy will have them offline by default.


Access Disk management by right-clicking on the start menu, and selecting ‘Disk Management’.


Right-Click on the start button,


and select the Disk Management
option
Right-Click on each drive and select online. This will need to be done on all drives that are shown as ‘Offline’.

You will now need to Initialise each disk. This can be done in the right-click menu.


Select Initialize Disk


Windows may give you the option to do all disks at once, if available do this to speed up the process.


Select all disks


Drives can now be placed into various raid configurations.
