Sentiment Analysis of MSU-IIT Alumni Satisfaction with their Undergraduate Experience

in Correlation on Alumni Giving and Participation

Main Objective:

The main objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between the MSU-IIT
alumni involvement and satisfaction with their academic experiences. And to investigate the
relationship between the alumni involvement and related alumni contribution behavior.

Specific Objectives:

1. To develop visualization between the alumni involvement to MSU-IIT.


2. Assessing the impact on alumni giving and alumni participation in MSU-IIT.
3. To analyze statistics of the growing higher education participation employability and
entry into the labor market.
4. Assessing the alumni undergraduate experiences and their sentiments on MSU-IIT.
Review of Literature

Alumni Satisfaction

Alumni who are highly satisfied with the academic system during their undergraduate
experience are more likely to be involved with their alma mater than those alumni who do not have
a high level of satisfaction with the academic system. The satisfaction with the academic system
within the undergraduate college experience positively impact alumni involvement. Alumni
expectation has grown over the past decade, but the satisfaction measurement in higher education
remains unclear. The relationship with the university is intensely shaped during the college
experience. This is when the relationship with the college develops, grows, and is firmly set in
place. Graduates leave the college with an assessment of their experience and a sentiment toward
their alma mater. The relationship with the alma-mater will definitely influence the future decision
making regarding the university.
