become effective and efficient in their duties and roles as leaders.

Also, LDI’s program is a solution/intervention to challenges many organizations


are facing in Africa. Its uniqueness is that it is building bridges amongst heads of
organizations and organizations relationships.

This newsletter covers LDI’s events from January to June 2018. Of no doubt, your
consistent support (spiritually, morally and financially) has been used of God for us to do
what is being shared in this Mid-Year Newsletter.

LDI’s Target Goal (2018)

1. Ministry Governance Awareness Workshop (15 Countries)

The goal is to bring together in each country Churches and para-church Organizations
target leaders for an Awareness Workshop. This is to help assess their organization with
a view to understand their need(s) and to see how they can be helped to perform at
optimum level. They will thereby be encouraged to motivate their teams to take
advantage of LDI’s training program.

Activities Update
1. We conducted Awareness Workshops in 9 countries from January to June this
year in the following countries, Burundi, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda,
Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia.
2. The following countries have been lined up for July to December Botswana,
Lesotho, Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland.

We have developed a process-driven engagement program to help Churches and para-


church organizations to transform existing, dysfunctional, or newly created Godly/Biblical
ministry governance.

Activities Update
1. We conducted full Ministry/Organizational Leadership Board Training for 10
organizations in the following 4 countries Uganda, Malawi, Sierra Leone and
South Africa.
2. Currently, discussions are going on with some organizations for their leadership
training on ministry governance. God is widely opening doors of ministry
opportunities beyond our imaginations; we have seen one engagement opening
doors for others.

3. Training of Trainer

Based on the interest and demand we are experiencing around the continent for Ministry
governance training. It is now obvious that more people need to be engaged to help
