Course Description
This course will serve as an introduction to the fundamentals of Contemporary and
Alternative (CAM). This class will be dedicated to understanding the basic concepts
of CAM concepts, comparative analysis of Contemporary and Alternative medicine
vs. traditional medicine.
Session one: Basic understanding of CAM
Session two: Specific Treatments: acupuncture and chiropractic care.
Session three: Stress reduction with practical application.

Course Objectives
1. To understand the basics of CAM approaches
2. To understand the differences CAM methods and traditional medicine
3. To learn the major concepts of CAM
4. To learn about acupuncture, chiropractic care and the benefits
6. To learn about stress reduction and can apply the techniques
