Avoiding Fallacies

Most informal fallacies may be used to avoid critical appraisals of arguments, hence compromise the
level of decisions made and complicate relationships with others. The main things in countering
fallacious arguments would making sure that the propositions are of the same form as the original,
ensuring that the format is identical to the original and ensuring that the premises of the argument are
true and conclusion. Moreover, one must be able to recognize how the flaws in others arguments,
hence acquire the skill that allows one to critically analyze the validity of other individual’s claims,
research results or hypotheses in various texts. In the same line, arguments put together should be
according to the requisite structures and should show clear reasoning in one’s work.
