`Many Christians dread the thought of leaving this world. Why?

Because so many have stored up their treasures on

earth, not in heaven. Each day brings us closer to death. If your treasures are on earth, that means each day brings
you closer to losing your treasures. - Randy Alcorn

Depend upon it, your dying hour will be the best hour you have ever known! Your last moment will be your richest
moment, better than the day of your birth will be the day of your death. It shall be the beginning of heaven, the
rising of a sun that shall go no more down forever! - C.H. Spurgeon

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in
the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and
their works do follow them..”Rev 14:13
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from
now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

1 Corinthians 15:51-57

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Jn 11:25
1 Corinthians 15:54-57 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall
come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death,
where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will
transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Revelation 21:1-4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a
bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with
man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe
away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain
anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

John 14:2-3
Hn 5:28-29

1. They, then, who are destined to die, need not be careful to inquire what death they are to die, but into what place
death will usher them.
2. For the child of God, death is not the end but merely the door into a higher and more exalted life of intimate
contact with Christ. Death is but the dark valley opening out into an eternity of delight with God. It is not
something to fear, but an experience through which one passes on the path to a more perfect life. - Phillip Keller
3. Tears are a tribute to our deceased friends. When the body is sown, it must be watered. But we must not sorrow
as those that have no hope; for we have a good hope through grace both concerning them and concerning
ourselves. - Matthew Henry
4. Matthew 6:20
5. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and
steal.

6. I am not tired of my work, neither am I tired of the world; yet, when Christ calls me home, I shall go with
gladness.

Adoniram Judson

7. Never fear dying, beloved. Dying is the last, but the least
matter that a Christian has to be anxious about.
Charles Spurgeon

8. Some day you will read in the papers that D. L. Moody of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you
believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now; I shall have gone
up higher, that is all, out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal- a body
that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious
body. Dwight L Moody
God has the last word on death. And, if you listen, he will tell you the truth about your
loved ones. They've been dismissed from the hospital called Earth. You and I still roam the
halls, smell the medicines, and eat green beans and Jell-O off plastic trays. They,
meanwhile, enjoy picnics, inhale springtime, and run through knee-high flowers. You miss
them like crazy, but can you deny the truth? They have no pain, doubt, or struggle. They
really are happier in Heaven. And you won't see them soon? When you drop your kids off
at school, do you weep as though you'll never see them again? When you drop your spouse
at the store and park the car, do you bid a final forever farewell? No. When you say, "I'll see
you soon," you mean it. When you stand in the cemetery and stare down at the soft, freshly
turned earth and promise, I'll see you soon, you speak truth. Reunion is a splinter of an
eternal moment away. There is no need for you to "grieve like the rest of men, who have no
hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13 NIV) So go ahead, face your grief. Give yourself time. Permit
yourself tears. God understands. He knows the sorrow of the grave, He buried his son. But
He also knows the joy of resurrection. And, by his power, you will too.- Max Lucado From
Facing Your Giants and the chapter entitled Unspeakable Grief
9.
10. It is right for us to weep, but there is no need for us to despair. They had pain here. They
have no pain there. They struggled here. They have no struggles there. You and I might
wonder why God took them home. But they don't. They understand. They are, at this very
moment, at peace in the presence of God." Max Lucado

Heaven

I would not give one moment of heaven for all the joy and riches
of the world, even if it lasted for thousands and thousands of
years. Martin Luther

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

Thomas Moore

Heaven is a permanent residence ? a place where we unpack our
bags and stay forever. ? What a glorious thought to wake up in
Heaven and realize it is home!
C.L. Allen

Entrance into Heaven is not at the hour of death, but at the
moment of conversion.
