Let’s share some coins!

Assalamu Alaikum and Kia Ora Arzu.

Today I watched you as you played with baby Aya, you were both playing with bright plastic
coins from the piggy bank.
It was heart-warming to see how you gave Aya one coin and waited for
her to finish exploring. You did not take it from her you just waited
happily for your turn😊
You are learning to take turns and share with your friends. I am very
proud of you my dear.
What learning occurred?
Arazu’s learning pathway this term is learning with and alongside her friends. Her turn
taking skills has grown as she played with coins today. Arazu’s understanding of the fun she
can have has increased by playing with Aya. She is developing her observation skills by
watching Aya’s reactions in their game today.
How can we extend this learning?
We will continue to support Arazu’s growing friendship skills by encouraging her to join her
friends as they play.
