>These include government agencies, medical practitioners, patients in medical institutions,
legal institutions, and individuals who are deaf and/or dumb in the community. The government
agencies require such services during meetings with other agencies or during international summits
held in the state. Medical practitioners require the interpretation services when handling Limited
English Proficiency (LEP) patients, or during international medical and other conferences. The legal
fraternity also uses IL’s services during legal proceedings or international meetings that require such
services. Additionally, the deaf and dumb in the community require IL’s video remote and on site
interpretation services whenever they attend important meetings such as interviews or work
conferences with individuals who are not familiar with sign language. Most of the company’s clients
are aged approximately 25-85 years of age and are residents of Montgomery county Maryland and
the surrounding areas. However, during visits to social, immigration and health care services, the
company’s interpreters serve these clients. Such visits occur several times a month in the medical,
governmental, and legal agencies therefore IL is relatively busy throughout the year.
> The government agencies usually request for on-site interpreters as well as over-the-phone
interpretation services whenever necessary. Legal agencies prefer to use IL’s over-the-phone services
most times but occasionally request for the company’s services in translating documents. Medical
institutions use IL’s licensed medical interpreters who assist the institutions in serving foreigners who
cannot speak English. In addition, the medical institutions also use over-the-phone services and
video-remote interpreting for minor interpretations of medical records of patients whenever
necessary. The dumb clients use IL’s on-site interpretation services and video-remote interpreting
more than over-the-phone services.
> Most of these customers reach IL through the company’s website, using search engines,
emails, community newsletters advertising IL’s services, and through the company’s call center. In
addition, some customers reach IL through word of mouth from satisfied former clients in the
community.
>Therefore, an enhanced marketing strategy should enable IL to increase its customer base
as well as its brand visibility.

Interpretation System PowerPoint Presentation

Introduction:

Good morning! If you are here today, you are aware of how important clear communication
is. At ––––– we believe that everyone should be able to communicate, no matter what language
they speak. We believe that every agency, service, and business should have the freedom to
engage in a meaningful way with anyone from any language group. With that in mind, we are
unveiling our Next Generation Interpretation Management System. This is the second edition
of our system, and it offers improved versions of the services you need and already use:
video-remote interpretation, on-site interpretation, and over-the-phone interpretation.

Whether you are in the services industry or are a language service consumer, you need inter-
pretation that you can rely on. Imagine being able to make a simple phone call and resolve a
miscommunication; to coordinate on-the-spot interpreters in advance and enjoy peace of
mind knowing a meeting will go smoothly; to schedule a video call so you can achieve face-
to-face clarity even at a distance.

Why is Interpretation Important?

Fast, accurate interpretation is necessary to meet the challenges of an international world and
the cultural diversity our society embraces. The Washington Metro area alone has seen enor-
mous growth in the population of those with limited English proficiency, and 25% of its resi-
dents do not speak English as their primary language. A business can no longer count on
staying competitive without the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of
languages. For the individual, interpretation services make it possible to access services, find
legal and medical help, patronize businesses, and truly become a part of a community.

Who Needs –––––?

Government agencies need to be able to communicate with all in the community to ensure
safety and make sure everyone has access to services and information. It is also important to
each individual within the community to have access to social and immigration services, in-
formation, and aid. Many community members are cut off to these services without a way to
communicate effectively. –––––’ interpretation services make it possible to reach out to these
valued members of our society and empower them with what they need to thrive.
Beyond the community level, interpretation makes it possible to hold meetings and summits
with people from other parts of the world, enhancing understanding, trade, and cooperation in
a way that benefits and uplifts everyone.

In the world of medicine, accuracy and speed are everything. In fact, having speedy and cor-
rect interpretation available whenever it is needed could be a matter of life or death for some
patients. The right interpretation services can make sure there are no medical mistakes and no
wasted treatments. Our system offers licensed medical interpreters who understand the type
of information that needs to be communicated and just how important it is to do it accurately
and quickly.

Interpretation services also have the power to bring the medical community together by al-
lowing for better communication at international conferences and between colleagues from
different language groups. The interpretation services offered by ––– can facilitate discus-
sions about treatments and procedures among medical professionals or discussions on coop-
eration and the administrative aspects of medical care among administrators.

For those in the legal professions, access to interpretation services opens up whole new com-
munities of clients. Having live interpretation by someone experienced in working with legal
interpretation makes real communication possible, even in this complicated field. The help
offered by –––– does not just go in one direction, either. Individuals in the community with
limited English proficiency often feel cut off and alone, unable to access the information they
need to defend themselves or protect their rights, and many times not even sure where to go
to get help. Our legal interpretation services change all that.

For a business, having interpretation services at your command makes it possible to make a
customer out of anyone in the community. For the small, minority-owned business our pro-
fessional interpretation can help you succeed and grow, navigating customer service issues,
codes and regulations, and legal concerns with ease.

For the deaf, our interpretation management system’s video-remote interpreting features
make it possible to communicate with anyone, anywhere, making community life easier and
simpler than ever before. With video-remote interpretation it becomes fast and easy to com-
municate at the bank, ask questions at the store, or deal with the aftermath of an auto acci-
dent.

Why ––––?
When you need to communicate, accuracy and speed are everything. ––––– is leading the
way in state-of-the-art communication and interpretation technologies, leveraging the power
of the digital space to bring highly-skilled, trained interpreters to the right place at the very
moment they are needed. Our interpreters offer a wide and unique range of languages, includ-
ing many East African languages. They are also trained to meet specific needs, whether it be
legal, social, medical, or sign language interpretation. The skill and training of our interpret-
ers and the quality of our technology make it possible for us to customize services to meet
client needs, whether that client is a single individual, a government service, or a corporation.
Our professionals have years of experience in this industry and have worked extensively
providing on-the-spot interpretation for meetings and international summits, over-the-phone
legal services, over-the-phone and video-remote interpretation clarifying instructions for
medications or points of medical history, and on-the-spot and video-remote interpretation for
the deaf and dumb.

At ––––––, we value our interpreters. We compensate them fairly for their hard-earned skill
and experience, attracting the most skilled interpreters and ensuring they are motivated to
work hard for you. Yet we can offer some of the most competitive rates of any interpretation
service in the area, and we still do not charge a start-up fee. We are convinced that once you
try us, you will see the value of our service and the skill of our interpreters for yourself.

With our newest generation of systems, ––––– is ready to provide even faster and smoother
service than ever before. We invite you to try us and see the difference our technology, our
trained interpreters, and our experience can make. Let’s work together to bring cultural diver-
sity and globalization a reality in this community.
