“The Three Little Pigs” Felt Story

Once upon a time there was a Mamma pig that had three little pigs. One day she
decided that is was time for her little ones to go and live on their own. She told them
to be careful because the big bad wolf was very sneaky and might try to hurt them.
The first little pig went to South Road and built a house made of straw.
After a few days, the big bad wolf came along, knocked at the door and said, “Little
pig, little pig, please let me come in.” The little pig was very scared but he replied,
“No, no, not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!”
“Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!” yelled the angry wolf. So
he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house in.
The little pig was so scared that he ran all the way to the second little pig’s house.
The second little pig had built a house made of sticks on North Road.
But the wolf was pretty angry and soon found the second little pig’s house. He
knocked at the door and said, “Little pigs, little pigs, please let me come in.” The
two little pigs hugged each other and together replied, “No, no, not by the hair of our
chinny chin chin!”
Oh, the wolf was sooo angry!! “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house
in!” he shouted. So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house in.
The two little pigs held each other’s hands and ran all the way to the third little pig’s
house.
Well, the third little pig was very smart! He knew that straw and sticks would not
build him a good house, so he used bricks to build his house on Central Road.
The wolf had been following the other two little pigs and soon found the third little
pigs’ house. He knocked at the door and asked, “Little pigs, little pigs, please let me
come in.” The three little pigs laughed and together replied, “No, no, not by the hair
of our chinny chin chin!”
The big bad wolf was not impressed, “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your
house in!” And so he huffed, and he puffed, but he couldn’t blow the house in!
The three little pigs laughed and were so happy, until the wolf said, “I’ll get in
through the chimney!” But they had a great idea: they built a big, hot fire in the
fireplace and when the wolf tried to get through the chimney, the flames were so
high that they burned his tail!
The poor wolf ran off to his own home and never came back again to harm the three
little pigs.
