1. BACNet enabled BMS device connected to the Local LAN.

2. In the BMS device created separate BACNet Object for the requirement ,Here Analog
variable (AV2) and Binary Variable(BV16)
3. In the KEPServerEX add a new channel and enabling BACNet IP where Network no 1,and add
a device where id as 2000 etc(BMS device id set in default)
4. After Device is accessible Save the work.
5. Under the new device add a new two tags for objects. Use following details

Name Address Data Type


AV2 AnalogValue.2.PresentValue Float
BV16 BinaryValue.16.PresentValue Float

6. Save KEPServerEX Again.


7. In the MatrikonOPC Server simulation software Under the Alias Configuration add new alias
Group.Under the content of new alias group double click and insert new alias.Insert new
alias dialog box will appear.Use Holding Register Alias and select data types Boolean for BV
and SHORT for AV.Save the server.
8. Open the Linkmaster Sofware .In the screen there are two network tree where we can
expand.Use the Left one and Expand the Local Machine. Then follow the path Local
Machine>Kepware.KEPServerEX.V6>Channel>Device Under the Device you are able to find
the prepared tags AV2 and BV16.Create a group in the group pane and drag and drop the
AV2 and BV16 tags in to the recently created group. You are able to see New Link Name
appeared in the Link Pane of the Window.
9. Double click and open each link.New Dialog box will appear select the Output tab from the
dialogbox.Select Server from Server name dropdown list and set the Item ID path of the
external OPC server.Here path will be Local
Machine>Matrikon.OPC.Simulation.1>Configured Aliases from the folder select relevant
item and click ok.
10. Now BMS device bacnet object mapped to a tag or variable of external OPC server .
