Se SPORTS-FITNESS-COMMUNITY New England's first sports and fitness facility cot y z designed specifically for adaptive athletes soot a eer x and individuals with disabilities Miracle League Sports of all Sorts Program at Chapter 126 Sports & Fitness, An Oak Center Purpose: Sports of All Sorts Program: This collaborative program between Miracle League of CT and Chapter 126 Sports & Fitness, will provide Miracle League participants and their families to take part ina variety of adaptive sports, activities, and games. They will do so in a fully inclusive environment. These activities will be age appropriate and at the same time centered on the needs of all the individual participants. This program will be led by knowledgeable well trained staff in a state-of the-art facility specifically designed for individuals with special needs and their families. Examples of program activities include but are not limited to: + Wheelchair Basketball/ Adaptive Basketball * Wheelchair Football and Frisbee Games + Obstacle Courses and Parachute Games + Yard Games and Tag Games Program Scop 1. A ten week program starting in November 2016 - February 2017. 2, Two-90 minute sessions per week. (Divided by two age groups: 4yrs-IOyrs, IIs and older) 3. Bach week is a different sport, game or activity with pre-registration. (Drop-in Welcome) 4. Program is available to be run on either Saturday or Sunday momings dependent on interest of participants 5, Minimum number of participants for each session: 8. Maximum number of participants for each session: 25.
