Theatre experiences in education provide learners with opportunities to master basic skills,
to inquire and discover, to create, and to explore values. Theatre imitates and symbolizes
human action in order to explore thought, feeling and behavior.
The goal of the dramatic arts courses is to help students to become knowledgeable of and
proficient in action and supporting theatrical fundamentals. Theatre II provides
opportunities for students to strengthen skills in critical listening and thinking, as well as
stage presence and ensemble work.

creativity. Opportunities are provided for students to study acting and production
techniques as well as historical and literary elements.
