Letter Final
Letter Final
I hope this letter finds you well. As I am sure you are aware, the SPCA and PETA have
similar goals, that being improving the welfare of animals. With that being said, the
SPCA has an exciting new initiative that I am overseeing, which is coordinating with
other animal rights organizations to discover how many animals we are unable to save
and must be euthanized, despite all of our very best efforts. The objective of this
research is to discover organizations with the lowest rate of animals that are destroyed
in order to isolate best practices that in turn can be shared and disseminated to other
facilities to hopefully guarantee a higher yield of successes for these animals.
REQUESTED INFORMATION
What I am requesting from the PETA organization are accurate answers to the following
questions:
1. How many facilities are operating under the PETA umbrella?
2. How many animals are currently under PETA’s care?
3. How many animals are adopted through PETA annually?
4. How many animals are destroyed annually?
From all of your friends at the SPCA, we would like to commend you for your unending
benevolence and we are eagerly awaiting your responses. Together, and hopefully
soon, we will be able to achieve our aims of improving the lives of the animals we share
this planet with.
Respectfully,
Thomas Hitz
