concern about the returns so investors tend to consistently compare the investment

1.2 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The main objectives of the project is to study the status of mutual funds in the
investment sector ,which can be fulfilled with the below scope .

To study how the investment should be made so as to ensure the safety as well as
best possible returns on it .

To take an insight into changing concept of investment sector from view point of
indivisual investor as well as the means of investment as a whole.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The study taken into consideration three leading mutual fund AMC of private
sector namely
1.3 Rational of the study
This project will give the vision to the investor to look at mutual funds as a good
investment option &help the investor top narrow down the investment from
scattered hundred of schemes

1.4 Limitation
1 the study is invited to *only three asset management companies only

 BIRLA GROUP
 UTI

2. the study can give general idea about mutual fund returns but not the accurate
picture about the return .

3. the study is also restricted only for last three months data .

4.The study can not tell the investor exactly which fund they should invest .

5.past returns taken for comparison are not indicator of future performance .
