As we have been to a heavy expense to fur- nish you one of the neatest papers published, we hope you will recognize the propriety of paying up all arrearages, and, also, aiding us to increase greatly our number of subscribers. Many of you we have indulged for a long time, and a true reciprocity of favors would require you to pay up all arrearages and as far in advance as you are now in arrears; but we do not ask a reciprocity of favors, but only what simple justice and common honesty demand; and that is, that you pay what you are now owing. Do this and get your friends and neighbors to subscribe. Show them your paper that they may see it and judge of its merits for themselves. o
