It was 2 a.m.

Jason was walking home alone when he saw a

man walking weirdly towards him some distance away. Jason
smiled. Then, he crossed the road to the other side. Jason
stopped, and looked behind him. The weird man was standing
there looking at him. Jason then decided to walk again. Feeling
uneasy, he stopped and looked behind him again. The weird
man was squatting. But, then he stood up and walked towards
Jason in an exaggerated tip-toeing fashion.
“What the hell do you want?” Jason shouted when the
man was just a few feet away from him. The man stopped, said
nothing, turned around, and walked away. Jason was relieved,
and continued walking home. Then, he heard hurried footsteps
and Jason looked behind him and saw the weird man running
him. Frightened, Jason also ran. He ran for his life. He ran round
the corner and stopped, hands on knees, to catch his breath.
He looked behind him and saw no one. Jason took a few more
deep breaths and stood up. Then, he turned around and saw
the man in front of him. He was smiling.
