Brief Background of Krystal Rice Dealer:

- Records manually all their transactions and customers information.


- The log book is a form where they manually write the name, contact number,
address and the product that the customer will purchase including the price,
quantity and the date of purchased. The total amount is computed at the end of the
day to make sure that the amount of product sold is equal to the sales of the
enterprise
- Log book data: Customer name, contact number, address, and product bought or
will buy including price, quantity, and DOP. Included in the log book is computation
to make sure total income and total sales are equal.

Problems of the rice dealer: Store manually computes/ records sales and credit
transactions as well as product details. Cashier/manager has a hard time in both
selling and managing the log book which may lead to inaccurate sale and
inconsistency in tracking customers credit(utang)

Proposed objectives of the project:


- system will save, record and organize product and customer information.
-compute automatically and accurately the price and total amount of purchase
-save and retrieve customers utang for collection

Proposed scope of the project:


- no inventory
-The system only accepts cash payments, not credit cards or checks.
- The system does not have keyboard shortcut keys.
- No date picker for adding expenses.
- The system does not have delete function for already transacted CASH and CREDIT.

*One of the members talked to the business owner and asked what they wanted the
software to be like. The business answered they would prefer a computerized
version of their logbook. Inventory was not their main concern or need for the
software.
