ELEANOR Y PARK

Eleanor lives in a tiny house with her mother, her stepfather and her four brothers.
All five share a room. Park lives with his parents and his younger brother. It has its
own stereo and a water mattress.
Eleanor's stepfather is an alcoholic and the family is terrified. Park's father is a
veteran who met his wife while fighting in the Korean War. Park does not know any
other couples who love each other as much as their parents.
The two sit together on the bus because they have no choice, but they have nothing
in common, no reason to address the word. She, with her curly red hair and quirky
clothes, is the target of many taunts. He is too geeky to be popular, but in general
they leave him alone and he does not want that to change. But with the passage of
time begins a lovely relationship.
