A Findings :

1 The Fire Tank is far away of Pump room, More than 20 mtr. Note

2 Suction Pipe size 8’’. Note

3 Suction line before the pump is not achieving 10D (1500 mm) from last Note
fitting subject to Congested Room.
4 Electric Pump failed to maintain the nominated pressure @ 150% flow Note
as informed by site team.
B Recommendation :

1 Extend the suction line ref: attached photo. MAXIM

2 Remove the valve6’’ & Flexible connector before the pump and replace MAXIM
it with 8’’ valve ref: attached photo.
3 Replace the pressure gauges with new calibrated one. MAXIM

4 Apply pressure test 2 to 3 bar at suction line to eliminate any leakage. MAXIM

5 Try to shift the electric pump forward to increase the space of suction MAXIM
line (if possible).
6 Increase the effective height of fire tank and make sure that both tanks ALDOUHA
are full.
