GPS Operation If you version is GPS one, please note that you should sett via programming software before using it 1. Menu->Utilities->GPS—>V 2. Channel information->Send GPS info-> VW 3. Channel information» Digital Data~> GPS System—>OFF/1~15~>choose any type from =18. When receiving the GPS signal, indicator lights green, at the same time, the upper area in the screen, there is 4°’. Aiter setting in the programming software, when you release PTT, your radio will send your location and your time to receiving party automatically. Only if receiving party is set to receive these information, (Channel information->Recee GPS info-> V ), or even you send, it ceive nothing GPS on/off setting You also can turn on or off the GPS function in the menu, menu->Utiities->Radio setiing~GPS—>O#, 1-15, and please choose any type from 1-15, which is to set GPS system type, please check more details in the GPS system setting, Self radio GPS info Ii you want to check self radio GPS information, please enter menu, menu>Ultities->GPS/Beidou info, you will know your longitude, latitude, altitude, satelite, tme zone and time, Other radio GPS info If you want to detect GPS Information of others, just make sure that radio does open GPS and have good GPS signal. and please kindly note that you only can detect other GPS information in private cal, menu-coniact->contact and choose the contact you want to know and the choose the last menu, view GPS, and it will show GPS information of that raclio. GPS system setting The function is to set GPS system type, and you can choose GPS system type in the Channel information->Digital Data->Off, 1-15. Pease note that this function is only for transmitting party, which want to send GPS information to others automatically, and whan it is busy in talking and want to send your location to third patty, you also can set here, lor example, there are three radios, A, B and C, Aand B are in communcation and Aor B want to send GPS information to G, A or B should be set in the GPS system 1. GPS Revert Channel: This function is io set which channel in & oF B plan to send GPS information to C, actually, ifthe frequency and following Destination ID are the same, the third party can receive the GPS information 2. Default GPS Repor intorval(S): This function is to sot tho how frequent AV/B sends GPS information to C, 3, Destination ID: This function is to set which ID A/B wants to send GPS information to ‘And now G will receive GPS information from A/S in some interval, please check menu->Utiittes->RX GPS info, and press it fo enter then confiim and stay that page, you will have longitude and latitude.
