book. I would also spend 5-6 hours per week and if required to clear my doubts, I
would consult Dr.Pankaj Gupta for the same.
Week: 2
Time Value and Money & Estimation of cost of capital/ hurdle rate. Since I am not
comfortable in mathematics, I would spend more on theory. Also I would consult
Dr. Pankaj Gupta to get some tips and clarification. Once I understand the
concepts,I would like to practice myself. I would spend 7-8 hours for this chapter
3.
Week: 3
Risk & return- Again this chapter no: This chapter deals in numbers. Hence I
would work harder to get deeper understanding of this chapter with the help of Sir
and solving practice sums from the book.
Week: 4
Investment decision making - this week I would focus on chapter 6 and 10. After
understanding I would apply the same concepts. Once in a week I would meet sir
but if necessary for clarification, I would meet him more than once.
Week: 5
Capital structure decisions & choice and Dividend decisions- In this week, I would
Estimate and project cash flows from financial statements, identifying the relevant
cash flows.
Week: 6
I would do a final revision in this week and if there is something which I find
difficult to apply then I would consult sir. Also, I would relate some of the
concepts through my corporate experience
