Tissues, body systems concepts

1.What are the four main types of tissue? The main four types of tissue are the
muscle, epithelial, connective, and nervous tissue.
2.Tattoo’s are below what type of tissue in the human body? Is it a good idea to
get one?Tattoos are below the epithelial tissue. I think it is not a good idea to get
a tattoo because when you get older your skin will get damaged by the tattoo.
3.What is the difference between tendons and ligaments? The difference between
tendons and ligaments is tendons serve to move the bone and ligaments is a
fibrous connective tissue that attaches bones to bones.
4.Compare the 3 types of muscle tissue. Cardiac, smooth & skeletal. The similarity
between the cardiac and skeletal muscles, is that they are both are striated
muscles. But the major difference is that the skeletal muscle is controlled by the
somatic nervous system, and the cardiac muscles are, by nature, involuntarily
controlled
5.Name and describe the 10 body systems. Which two provides energy to the 8
body systems? Provide images for each body system. Skeletal system movement
of the body. Muscular system allows movement. Circulatory system pumps
blood. Lymphatic system immune response filters.
6.Name three diseases associated with the skeletal system, muscular system and
nervous system.Three diseases are hip dysplasia, bone disease, and metabolic
bone disease.
7.What is the strongest bone in the body? Where are the weakest bones found in
the body? The strongest bone in the body is the femur and the weakest bone in
the body is the bones in the ear drum which are malleus, incus & stapes.
