OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to create a comic strip where they describe what robots will be
able to do in the future.

LANGUAGE PATTERNS: Use of “Will”

GUIDELINES TASK 1

1. You will find a reading called “Shopping for a

robot”. Please, read the file carefully.

2. Then, you will listen to a listening passage

titled “robots come to School”.

3. With the information provided on both the

reading and the listening passages, you are
going to create a comic strip. The story of the
strip must answer the following question: What
do you think robots will do in the future?

You can use free tools like PREZI, Slideshare or

Power Point to create your comic strip.
