Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are a group of pathological conditions that
affect the normal functioning of fine tissues of the musculoskeletal system that includes nerves, tendons, muscles, and supporting structures such as intervetebral discs. Based on a preliminary survey of 5 laundry workers from a handsome sub-district, 4 (80%) of workers had symptoms such as musculoskeletal disorder. There are three factors causingcomplaints Musculoskeletal Disorders ie work factors, linggungungan factors and individual factors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of age with musculoskeletal complaints, to determine the relationship of body mass index with musculoskeletal complaints, to know the relation of workload with musculoskeletal complaints and to know the working relationship with musculoskeletal complaints. This research is a kuntitatif research usingresearch design cross sectional. The population used in the research is 46 place laundry with 70 number of female sex workers in Kecamatan Tampan. The entire population was made a respondent. The measuring instrument is a questionnaire. Furthermore, in univariate and bivariate analysis usingtest chi square. The result of the research shows the relationship of age category (P value = 0.000134), body mass index (P value = 0,006), workload (P value = 0,305), service period (P value = 0,000183). The conclusion of this study is the relationship between age, body mass index, working period with musculoskeletal complaints and no relationship between workload with musculoskeletal complaints. It is recommended that laundry owners should have laundry owners to apply ergonomic work, use tools to reduce workload, and limit the employee's working life to no more than three years.
