To Whom it May Concern,

As a television reporter working for FOX 11 News in Los Angeles, California I had the pleasure of working closely with Eric
Neitzel, PIO for the Show Low Fire Department, who was sent here to Southern California during one of our worst fire
seasons.

During an entire week, as the Station Fire raged out of control, I counted on Eric for everything from stats; location and
logistical support to on-camera interviews. Because we were on the air with continuous coverage I often had to call Eric at
the Command Post every hour for updated information and ALWAYS found him to be thorough; extremely helpful and
knowledgeable; pleasant and willing to go that extra mile to get us reporters the information we needed to give our
viewers.

I have worked in television for over 20 years -- right here in the second largest news market in the United States Los
Angeles -- and I cover fires ALL the time so I know the difference between a good public information officer and one that
isn't interested. Eric falls in the category of excellent.

And I know many of the LA County and City Fire Captains and PIO's that worked with him here that were equally as pleased
with the job he did.
