Dear Mr.

George,

I am writing to seek your help in resolving a problem that I am experiencing right now. It is a
problem that is causing me some concern and that I have been unable to solve without bringing
to your attention. I hope in doing so we can deal with the issue quickly and amicably.

In December, some time before New year, Mr.Rizky said that he would need me to be a JII for
Maersk project Offshore. I did everything and I have just been in Doha for a day after project
completion. Up to now, I feel it has been a pleasure working as a part of your department. But
since yesterday, Me and Mr.Rizky think we have a disagreement towards your plan to extend our
workscope to onshore as technician, We actually don’t have any concern about job location,
since we have agreed that in contract, but it’s job position that Me and Mr.Rizky has some points
to tell you.

On 20th of January, the first day back at work, You and Mr.James Linden of Maersk office said
that we would have to work as JII and that was when the contract came. We agreed on that, We
did the job and completed it. Because we have prepared everything as JII here.

I raised this matter informally, but haven't been satisfied with the outcome. I tried talking to
Mr.Rizky and he agreed that we maynot chang the position in the contract we have agreed and
thus we have to do as the contract says on all the matter, I cc’d him as well in the email as a
proof.

I was very upset about this as I have been in this job for over 10 years and have not had any
problems in the past with my contract. I’m saying this not because I don’t want to work, I
actually enjoy my work and but I cannot understand to work as a technician as it’s a matter of
professionalism and treating our contract respectively. If you agree to change the position in the
contract then we will also need a discussion for changing other clause of the contract, including
our salary.

I would welcome the chance to talk and resolve this through with you at a convenient time and
place. I would like to be accompanied to the meeting by Mr.Rizky as well.
