Q. What is procurement type and how many types?

A. It decides weather material is procured from outside or material will produce In-house
or both. Procurement type is defined in MRP2 of material master. There are 3 types of
Procurement type

1. E - In-house production - Production order created only

2. F - External procurement - Purchase requisition created only

3. X - Both - for this planned order created we have to convert as per requirement
