CHAOS INVASION OF OOBAN

Stage 1: LANDINGS

ENEMY AIR POWER

The chaos forces have 5 regiments worth (1000) fighters. This is enough to tie up the
enemy air forces for a month and cost them 500 fighters.

PHASE 1

The initial phase of the chaos landings involves planet wide incursions from chaos
warbands acting individually to sow disruption, pin enemy forces in place, and to
sacrifice the civilian population in order to summon daemonic aide.

The chaos space marine warbands landed in the first phase of the invasion consist of 600
marines (4 companies; enough to disrupt the enemy for two days), and over the first day
of fighting 300 of them will expect to be casualties along with 1/8 of the Oobani forces
opposing them.

3 battles should be fought to determine circumstances in phase 2

Battle for the bridge (success representing a majority of bridges brought under chaos
control)
Battle for supply depots/airfields (success meaning enemy are no longer fortified except
in cities)
Ritual slayings (success meaning the planet has been prepared for daemonic assault and
daemons count as full access for phase 2)

PHASE 2

The outskirts of a selected hive will become the target of a daemonic summoning and the
first night of fighting will see a full scale daemonic assault on the selected Hive, along
with more concentrated Marine attacks. Successful disruption of enemy forces means that
only the targeted hive may oppose the landings.

in half a day. With superior psychics and command, this equates to 44 regiments worth.

3 battles should be fought to represent the turning points as the rituals of summoning are
carried out.
