Hello good afternoon my friends and good afternoon mr. John mewburn.

My name is Rani ersalina

iam here to present about the causes and effects of tsunami.

There are 3 causes of tsunami, the first is caused by an underwater earthquake, underwater
earthquake is movement of the earth plate that happen in the deep of ocean. It movement will
make a vibration to the water so, the sea will produce a big wave that can hit the ground.

And the next is caused by a submarine volcanic explosion. The power of the submarine
volcanic explosion will give a big pressure to the surface and make the sea produce a big wave. But if
there just an erruption of the submarine volcanic, that won’t make a tsunami.

And the last is caused by the impact of the meteorite. Even the earth has an atmosphere,
sometimes there are meteorite that hit the earth ground and ocean. If the size of the meteorite that
hit the ocean is large so it can make a tsunami. That because of the meteorite speed will give a high
velocity effect to the ocean,, and the ocean will make a shock wave that pressure.
