31082018 Vice Mai = eter for Mr Gian CZ a letter for Mr Giuliani ‘message Gabrie! Bejan 30 August 2018 at 21:59 To: JoAnn Zafonte@giulianipartners.com ‘To Mr. RUDOLPH W. GIULIANI Giuliani Partners 445 Park Avenue, 18th Floor New York, NY 10022 Dear Mr. Giuliani, twas with great interest that we read the letter in which you recently expressed your concern about Romania's future. You inspired us to approach you in another matter, one that we find of real tremendous importance. Thus, we, the editorial team of VICE Romania, are writing to you to express our concern about ongoing damage done to the image of our country under the rule of the current Prime Minister, Viorica Dancil ‘The numerous public blunders and the horrific grammatical and logical errors our prime minister makes on a daily basis have tumed our lives as Romanian citizens into a living nightmere. For many of us, watching Mrs. Dancila’s live ‘speeches has become truly painful. Some of us have tried to hide the fact that Mrs. Dancilé is prime minister ‘somewhere deep in our subconscious, as itis the only way we can bear the shame. However, whenever we see her ‘on TV, the pain comes back, each time worse and worse. ‘The damage is affecting us so directly that it might bring our country to the brink of irredeemable shame and even possible diplomatic conflicts, Here are some examples of horrendous statements voiced by our prime minister, which have made some of us writhe in pain in front of the TV: 1. She said that Iran and Pakistan are members of the European Union. 2. When in Podgorica, Montenegro, she said she is very happy to be in Pristina. When she returned to Romania, many of us were afraid she would say, as many foreign singers do during concerts, "I am glad to be here in Budapest” 3. In @ meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the only answer she gave when asked something in English was: "He, he” 4. When she met the Pope, she forgot how to say "Your Holiness" and voiced a sentence half in Romanian, half in English: "Sfintia Voastra, | am very glad for this opportunity’ 5. During the visit of the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, she invited him inside the Victoria Palace before the anthems of the two countries were finished. Then she did the seme thing without waiting forthe official salute of the honour guard. And at the end of the meeting, she asked him: "Make a photo?’ 6. During a government meeting, she said: “To sum up, we can say that we are reducing DEMOCRACY’. She meant bureaucracy, but her true inner voice took over, apparently 7. She forgot the name of the Estonian Prime Minister, Juri Ratas, during his official visit. As if this was not bad ‘enough, the Estonian flag was upside down during the meeting and the Estonian official had to rearrange it before the speeches, in front of live cameras. 8. During a festivity in Pitesti, a three-year old girl was asked to stand on her head, directly on the concrete floor, in front of the Romanian prime minister. Despite the litle girs obvious discomfort, Mrs. Dancilé happily clapped. 9, She makes grammar and language mistakes during EVERY speech. There is no point in writing them here, as they are in Romanian, but, trust us, they are painful 10. Above all, Romania is currently dealing with the worst case of African swine fever in recent history and the Prime Minister Viorica Dancité seems oblivious to the situation. In a recent government meeting, she praised the country's, very good results in agriculture and spoke about the wheat crop, but said nothing about the hundreds of thousands of pigs that had to be put down. bpsvimail google com/mail0/?ui-28ike 347a1e3ebijver=Cuv6aGO8V-8 en_GB fctl=gmailfe_190822.12_p2&viewspldsearch=send 834512, ra 31082018 ‘Vice Mail - leer for Me Giulan These are just some of the examples that we believe make Viorica Dancila inadequate to occupy the position of Prime Minister, ‘Thus, we ask you to send an open letter to the Romanian President, Klaus lohannis, to the head of the Senate, Calin Popescu Tariceanu, and, most importantly, to the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Liviu Dragnea, in which you ‘express your concer about the damage Mrs. Déncilé is doing to her own country by not stepping down. Taking into consideration the damage you caused with your frst paid letter, we hope you send this one pro bono. However, if you decide to charge us, we might be willing to pay your price. The pain is just too much to handle. Do not hesitate to contact us for further details, Yours sincerely, VICE Romania Please, confirm the receipt of this mail.
