The objectives of this project are to:

 promote innovations in education

 promote equality among young people from the Balkans
 promote good regional relationships
 overcome prejudices
 raise awareness about the common issues in society
 help young people take initiative
 help young people learn how to implement everything they have learned in their native country

With high passions in the region and the uprising of nationalism, this project aims to educate young people
about the principles of democracy, so that they can critically assess the political situation in their own
country and promote equality and good regional and international relations.
Participants will also have a chance to spend some time with people from their neighboring countries, learn
about other countries and the cultural differences that need to be celebrated, but also bridged, in order to
improve the political views in their own respective countries in the long run.
Countries, especially those who wish to become a member of the European union, must learn to set their
differences aside and work collectively towards a common goal, which is exactly what this project aims to
accomplish.
Participants will be taken through a series of lectures, workshops and educational visits to various locations in
the Balkans, where they will learn about possible innovations in education.
The education system in the Balkans, but especially in the countries of former Yugoslavia, still bears great
similarity to the system that was in place decades ago, with little to no wish for innovations and improving the
methods and quality of teaching and education in general.
