Procedural Steps

Purpose
To change the status of the applicant as “Further Application”

Menu Path
SAP Easy Access -> SAP menu Human Resources Personnel
Management > Recruitment > Appl. Master Data > PB40 – Applicant actions

Transaction Code
PB40

Procedure
Enter the Transaction code PB40 in the command field (refer the following
screen)

Or go as per the navigation shown below and click PB40 – Applicants Action

Press <Enter> or key, the following screen will appear

Key in the Applicant Number and Dates as shown below,

After the following activities,

1) Initial Data entry of the applicant

2) Additional data entry of the applicant

Further recruitment process takes place. During the Recruitment process the following different
processing statuses will be assigned to the applicant according to the case may be.

a) Process Applicant (in process)

b) Invite Applicant (for interview)
c) Offer Contract to the Applicant
d) Applicant Rejects Offer
e) Prepare for Hiring
f) Put Applicant on Hold
g) Reject the Applicant
h) Further Application

In order to assign the processing status to the applicant, in recruitment we execute an Applicant
Action using transaction code PB40.

This document covers the assignment of ‘Further Application’ status through the recruitment
action.

In order to execute this action, select the Action Type “Further Application” as shown below

And click the execute button. The following screen appears.

Click on the Status reason field, a drop down icon appears at the end of the field. Click this

drop down icon to get the drop down list. (refer screen below)

Select the required option and double click on it to get the value populated on the field.

Click the check mark button, look for any errors,

And if no errors, click the save button to save the record.

The screen looks as below.

The system will return back to the Applicants Actions screen.
